Well I am glad that is over....

Well another day is over and boy am I ever glad of that...

No this year I didn't make the 7 hour drive home to see my family (talk about upset), but really, as I spend everyday on the road here in NC driving for work, I just couldn't drive 7 hours one way and then 7 hours back again and face that I was coming back to spend 8 hours a day on the road for work. But to offer up in my defense, I did offer to fly home (just didn't push that part too hard though). I have been here in NC for 10 years now and really have started hating driving BIG time..... These people scare you to death here.

So I spent most of the day with my doggies, except for the few people that wouldn't take no for a answer of me coming over to eat.......really how much can one person eat???? Then each one of them said "Oh I made you a take home plate".........Plate!!!!!!! since when does a plate become a box with bowls and bowls of food? Once again, how much does one person eat???? I will have food for the next 3 weeks here with these take home plates.... Really I know were in the south, but come on now. I thought I was going to be attacked when I got home and I swear the dogs smelled the food when I got about a mile from my house.... in my house you drop it, don't be STUPID and try to pick it up, trust me I asked my insurance agent.....my policy doesn't cover acts of stupidness. These dogs will leave bloody stumps if you try to get the food back, I swear they know your just going to toss it away. You have to remember, these are all rescues and they know food was hard to come by then, you wouldn't know that today though.

Well all is good here in My Crazy World. After 4 days off and only to work 3 more then another 4 days off........Don't even think about it........I am not falling for that "take home plate story again".....Yeah I know your gonna read this today......and you can run out and start buying clothes since your "take home plate was two boxes" I will remember that!!!!! But in your defense...... The doggies love you bunches. Thanks again for a great time. Love you mean it....blah blah blah.
