Ok everyone,
Its time to meet Mutt, no he isn't a little long doggy, but still he is a rescue who was just three hours from being put to sleep when found as a stray in Jacksonville NC. Two very nice girls found him and his running mate Jeff (LH Dachshund) and took them to a vet and got them some shots, and once they found out they were going to be sent to the shelter which is high kill, they said no and called me. Well SUCKER.........not only did I take in Jeff, but Mutt too. Jeff moved very fast as I was in Dachshund Rescue at the time. But Mutt has lived here with me for a little over a year now. Well, he is going to be on a big ride this Saturday 12/15/2007, going to his forever home in DE. He will be riding on a transport of people moving dogs up I-95. These people are just wonderful as they give up time, and GAS money to move these rescue animals and they get no money back, only the great feeling that comes with getting a rescue animal safely home to his or her forever home or into a rescue group who will take good care of them.
Mutt I love you little guy. Your forever daddy........
